It’s beenabout a month since I last posted something. I actually feel pretty awful about that. Keeping this thing up to date is harder than I wish it was. haha But sometimes life just gets in the way, you know?

So let’s see… What’s happened in the last month? Well, I moved my sister into my home. Bought her her own dresser and a play pen for her youngest. Though, along with a ton of drama and CPS bull… The kids aren’t here. It’s a long story, one that I don’t really feel like expressing. Especially since it’s not really my story to tell. It’s been… An experience. Not bad though. Just really different when you’re used to only sharing your space with one other person and two crazy cats. These cats who don’t seem too crazy right now… But when they aren’t cuddling, they are just psycho! haha But anyway. I like my space. It’s different when you have more people living with you in your own home. I wouldn’t want it any other way, for her sake, but it just takes some getting used to. It’s nice having her around sometimes. I mean, she IS my best friend. She gives me someone to talk to about the random bs that I don’t always want to talk to Ryan about. Like dumb guys on the internet. haha

Ryan had his birthday in May. Turned 24, the old man. One hell of a day. Drama during the day, but that night was full of just a few friends, a lot of drinks, and a whole load of good times.  And the next day, as any proper birthday ends, Ryan was super hung over, and we got breakfast at Denny’s.

Other than those two things, not much has been going on. I’ve been doing a little bit of painting, which has been relaxing and really nice to just take my mind off of things for a while. It’s been quite some time since I’ve put paint to canvas. Been doing some drawing as well. Trying to get my next tattoo all drawn up . It’s looking pretty good, and hopefully I’ll be able to get it done sometime in the next month or two. I’ve also spent some time thinking about traveling. Doing some research, seeing where I’d like to go and how to go about doing it. I’ve come to the conclusion that in about two-three years I’m going to travel a large portion of the eastern hemisphere, mostly staying away from chain hotels and 5 star restaurants. I want to be able to celebrate my 25th birthday in a completely new and different part of the world, in a totally unique way. I want to be able to see the world before I’m too old to enjoy it or before the rest of the human race destroys it all. There’s beauty to be had in this world, and I want to bare witness too it more than anything in the world. I’ll quit my job and take about six months to a year all to myself and with any hope, Ryan as well. And we’ll also have my little traveling companion with me. I haven’t named him yet, but with his small size and little rainbow peace bandana, he’s the perfect companion. 🙂 We’ll start in New Zealand, making our way across the islands stopping in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, towards Thailand. We will definitely make a stop in India, travel across China towards South Korea, my grandmother’s birthplace. Back west across Russia, towards all of Europe. Major stops in Greece, Italy, France and Germany. Last stops are the UK and Ireland. It’s a long trip, one that I don’t want to put too much planning into. I have ideas of places I want to visit, but for the most part I just want to let the road take me where I need to go. I have faith in the world, in nature. And I know that I’ll end up where I was meant to if I just take the time to listen. I will always open my heart to the world.
